Hi, I'm the Alicia Perry behind Authentic Peaces. I’m a dreamer, adventure seeker and yoga lover living where the mountains meet the sea on Vancouver Island, Canada. Each of my handmade pieces is inspired by the beauty, creativity and vibrancy in the world and contributes to an amazing organization empowering youth in Tanzania. 

My travels have taken me through over 30 countries, immersed me in a myriad of cultures and introduced me to some pretty incredible people. I reflect this inspiration in all my pieces. After making jewellery, crochet and sewn goods for years, the stars aligned for me to share them with the world. I have an interest in digital designs and recently added to my shop.

Living on the West Coast of Canada, where the mountains meet the sea, I capture this simplicity, tranquility and natural beauty in each piece. I put love and care into each item, creating each piece by hand in my Vancouver Island (smoke-free) home. 

Authentic Peaces is making an impact peace by piece. I’m committed to donating 10% of each item sold to my amazing friends in Tanzania at Kinara (formerly called Morogoro Youth Development Initiative) — an organization I’m deeply connected to after volunteering in the community for a decade.
